Default SSIS Execute SQL Task - 10-25-2005 , 05:35 PM

Can anyone answer for my, why, after all these years of waiting, Microsoft
still cannot get simple SSIS tasks to work any better than DTS. Ridiculous.
The following, very simple call to a parameterized stored procedure
(up_GetData ?,?) from within a Data Flow Task will NOT parse correctly (it
throws the following error "Invalid parameter number") and will NOT preview
(it throws the following error: "No value given for one or more required
parameters. (Microsoft SQL Native Client)") but will run and actually pump
data into a destination table. Ridiculous. Also, the parameter names were
case sensistive and the documentation sucks. I know this is a still
September's CTP but this is UNACCEPTABLE for a BI tool...unacceptable.
Please tell me I'm doing something obviously wrong with this simple example
and I'm the one whose missed the boat.

Allan, thanks...I'm sorry too. Been there, done that on the articles and
still no luck. Just call me an Angry DBA I guess.
