Default SSIS creates a crash dump during execution - 05-30-2006 , 10:15 AM

We are having an issue where SSIS dumps during execution. It creates a crash
dump file on the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Shared\ErrorDumps
directory. Is there a way to read this dump or figure out why it is
happening? It seems to be intermittent. It happens to me once in a while,
but another person, it happens to all the time. We are both trying with the
same SSIS package. This happens in BI (the debug just stops and things are
left yellow) and in Management Studio, there we get a nice messages saying
the "Execute Package Utility has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience." There are no messages in the log. When
in BI the progess tab doesn't show any error, just stops. Does any one have
any idea how to capture what the issue is?

I also have the same problem with the import wizard. The package execution
fails at the actual data transfer stage. I've uninstalled and reinstalled,
applied the service pack but the problem persists. It doesn't matter whether
the data source is delimited text, Access mdb or SQL Server 2005 table. I
appreciate any help resolving this issue.

I am having the same problem trying to import a simple xls file. I
have tried putting it in Access and csv format and nothing is
working. I have also tried to use the bcp utility and i get the error
: Unable to open BCP host data file. I don't understand why the
import/export wizard is crashing and I'm not able to import.
This is very frustrating...any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I have found that if I change my source query to a view, I don't crash dump.
I had a sql query as my source. I am still looking into why this is
happening, but at least I have a work around.
