just installed sql service pack 4 and am having big problems with meta data
services

after installation if i expand data transformation services in enterprise
manager
and select Meta Data from the list two dialog boxes appear

one labled internet explorer which says some software (activex controls)on
this page might be unsafe it is recommended you do not run it, do you want to
allow it to run if i click yes it dissapears

the other one which is a error message says that an runtime error has
occured do you wish to debug line 507 error: object required

if i click yes a file is displayed which is

[read only : res//c:\program%20files\microsoft%20sql%20server\80\too ls\binn
\resources\1033\sqlmmc.rll/repgeneral.htm[break]]

and highlighted in yellow is

onLoadDBBrowser():

if i click no the dialog box stays put and i have to shut enterprise manager
down

i have no idea what to do to get rid of this problem

can anybody help

PS prior to installing sp4 this problem did not exsist

if you come acrss this problem all you need to do is install internet
explorer 6 sp1
and the problem dissapears
