Are there DTS improvements in Windows Server 2008 that would justify upgrading from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008? The SQL Server instance we currently have is not in a cluster. I've read about improvements for clustering, but haven't seen anything else about improvements. |

ggreeson, Do you mean: Is SQL Server Data Transformation Services (DTS) significantly improved by Windows Server 2008? That answer is 'No, not really.' DTS is still running as a legacy service from SQL Server 2000. Or, were you referring to some other DTS?
