SQL Server 2005 on Windows Server 2008

Are there DTS improvements in Windows Server 2008 that would justify
upgrading from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008? The SQL Server instance we
currently have is not in a cluster. I've read about improvements for
clustering, but haven't seen anything else about improvements.

Do you mean: Is SQL Server Data Transformation Services (DTS) significantly
improved by Windows Server 2008? That answer is 'No, not really.' DTS is
still running as a legacy service from SQL Server 2000.

Or, were you referring to some other DTS?

I typed DTS but meant DTC or Distributed Transaction Coordinator.
