Default SQL Server 2005 DTS /SSIS - 09-11-2008 , 11:46 PM

I am a SQL Server 2000 developer and recently moved to SQL Server 2005
environment. I need to know what is the equivalent of "dynamic
properties task" in SQL server 2005. What is the process of setting up
global variables in SQL 2005? The pkgs, I have written in SQL 2000, are
machine independent (no hard coded values) using dynamic properties task
and global varibles. I used DTSRUN utility to pass values to the GVs and
I want to do the same in SQL 2005. Any help would be appreciated!

This infomration helps. The 'Expressions' (in SSIS) seem to be working
as 'Dynamic Properties Task' as I have been able to create GVs, assign
properties to it using Expressions and pass the vlaues form job code
(T-SQL) using DTSX utility.

Another question: In SSIS, how do I select multiple columns in source
and destination columns and make it a single transmformation (as it is
in DTS 2000).

Thanks
