Default SQL 2000 :: Which Flavor Unicode Is Used For Flat File Export? - 04-21-2009 , 09:08 AM

that my doubt, when I export a file using UNICODE for a third party tool, it
fails, if I open it with notepad and I save it as UTF-8, it works

so
- which flavor of unicode does SQL used ??
- is that possible to "force" it to UTF-8 ??

thanks in advance

(I try to search in google, no lack, the only thing I found, was somebody
asking the same like me without reply ...

This article was written about SQL Server 2000, but as I understand it, the
picture is not much changed in 2005/2008.

If you wish, you can vote to show your support for adding UTF-8 support
