We have scheduled DTS jobs that have run error free for ages but the ones
that use batch files to launch and build cubes in Cognos Transformer have
suddenly started playing up even though they work when run manually.

I have done some testing and found it is not specific to this program as I
am unable to schedule a task to run *any* .exe [or .bat which launches an
app]. What happens is that an instance of that programs appears in task
manager but the program window does not appear and the job just keeps running.

We are using SQL2000+SP3 with SQL Server and SQL server agent both logged in
as SQL Admin.

Any ideas on next steps would be greatly appreciated!
