My previous post on this seems not to be getting any replies. I guess the core of my problem is the file I'm trying to import is .dbf, but not dBase. It is part of a shape file and I need to import it into the database. I can import it into Access first and then SQL, but I don't see why I should have to. I have tried importing it as dBase 3,4 and 5 to no avail(sp?). Has anyone imported the dbf portion of a shape file into SQL server before?
