Hello, I am trying to use DTS to move an SQL Server database, from one server (A) where I have sa access, to another server (B) using the DTS wizard. I have db_owner access to the database in B I am transferring data and objects to. I am able to successfully perform the operation between two server where I have both "sa" access. In this case (A) and (local). However, when attempting the same operation to transfer the database form (A) to (B) I get SETUSER Permission Denied. (a) I have taken care to ensure that user(s) are the same on both sides. (b) I have tried the option of not importing the users and permissions. Also I have noted that while the tables owner is DBO, the default owner is "my account name". Can somebody shed some light on the matter? Thanks, Jay |
