Default Setting SSIS Log properties - 06-07-2006 , 09:28 AM

Hi,

If you connect to SSIS with Object Explorer you can right click and select
View Logs. This will load the SQL Server Integration Services/NT Events into
a Log File Viewer. This log appear to go all the way back to the first time
that SSIS was installed and started. This can make this log 'Very Large' as,
for us, it is recording the maintenance plan events.

Is there a way to limit the size of this log? Where is the log stored?

Thanks

Chris Wood

it reads it out of your NT Application event log.
i.e.
eventvwr -> application -> filter: SQLISService
