Hello:

We are running SQL Server 7 on a Server 2003 box. We just recently
noticed all of our DTS packages are failing with this error in the
scheduled job log:

DTSRun: Loading...
Error: -2147217900 (80040E14);
Provider Error: 195 (C3)
Error string: 'ServerProperty' is not a recognized function name.

Error source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server

Process Exit Code 1.
The step failed.

The error itself makes sense as ServerProperty is a 2000-only function,
however why would this function even be called as its a SQL 7
installation?

We have recently attempted applying Service Pack 1 for Windows Server
2003. This process failed and the SP install was automatically rolled
back. Of course, this is certainly a possibility for the behavior, but
does anyone know how to fix it?
