Hi maxzsim,

I don't exactly understand what you mean by "scripting", but you
can save the file as a "bas" (visual basic) file from the DTS
designer window using "Save As".

Hi,

what i meant by scripting is in the DTS if there's connection and
transformation objects , the scripts will allow me to create exactly the same
DTS package by running for the script something like generating script for a
job

Hello maxzsim via SQLMonster.com,

You can save a package as a .bas file for VB. This will essentially create
a module that rebuilds the package but I am interested in why you would want
to do it like this? Why not just copy over the .dts file?
