Default Scheduling Package Problem - 09-16-2003 , 03:05 PM

Hi folks,

I'm having an issue scheduling a package in Sequel Server
2000. The package executes fine, but for some reason it
won't schedule. I've logged into the server through
terminal services and can get the package to run in there
as well, however no luck when it comes to scheduling the
package. I even have it scheduled in the development
environment, but now that I'm moving to production I'm
having trouble. Does anyone know if this could be a
driver problem? If not, any ideas? I'm able to connect
to the Oracle database through SQL Plus though???

Thanks for any help,
Brian

The most common issues with scheduled packages are around
permissions due to the execution context and the location of execution-

I would also recommend you turn on logging within the package, either to
and error file or to a SQL Server (SQL 2000 Only) to get as much
information as possible.
