Default Scheduling a Job Against AS/400, DB2 - 02-03-2004 , 08:33 AM

I set up a DTS to transform data from an AS/400 DB2 file
to SQL server. I can run the package fine manually;
however, if I try to schedule it, it hangs trying to
connect to the AS/400 database. No errors, just sits
there.

We can get this to work on another server, so it seems to
be machine dependent. Problem is, we don't know what's
different about the servers, as we did not set them up.
The people that did know nothing about this topic.

Any ideas?

Thanks

It works fine from the other server as a scheduled job?

Then there is something about the Agent Account on the first server that is
different from the second server.
Log in to the first server as the Agent account and try to run the DTS
package manually. This should not work.
