Iam getting the following error at the final stage of import/export
wizard of sql server 2005 while creating a package to transfer data from
excel to sql server.

"Save to sql server failed no description found"

I used sql server as the package location. Kindly help to resolve this
issue.

Hello savitha

In the DTS package
Have a look at the properties ( Package > properties > Logging) and enable
the logging.
specify where you want to log file to be generated and saved, then re-run
the DTS.

This will create a error / success log file and point out where the issue
lies.
