Default Saving DTS in SQL Server database.... - 07-15-2004 , 11:44 AM

I am using SQL Server 2000.

If I can see a DTS package under Data Transformation Services/Local
Packages,

that means the package is saved in SQL Server.

If I take master database backup, in case of disaster I can recover the
master database and all these DTS packages are restored.

Is it correct?

Wilson

Nope.

Packages are stored, when saved to SQL Server, in MSDB.

My ultimate goal is to make sure all the DTS package that I can see in the
SQL Server Enterprise Manager Data Transformation Services/Local
Packages are backed up properly.
How to ensure that ?

Allan,
Here is my question
" If I can see a DTS package under Data Transformation Services/Local
Packages, that means that DTS package is saved in SQL Server."
Is it correct?
