Does anyone know of any good DTS sites that have sample DTS packages for common or specialized use? I've been to sqldts.com and that seems to be the best site I've found. Also, anyone have any good books/sites to recommend for coding DTS from VB6? |

I would still recommend www.sqldts.com but then I'm biased. Whilst we do not have "Template Packages" we do have code samples that you can use and abuse in your own situations. Again for DTS and VB6 I would look here also. See it there is also something at www.SQLDEV.net -- Allan Mitchell MCSE,MCDBA, (Microsoft SQL Server MVP) www.SQLDTS.com - The site for all your DTS needs. www.SQLIS.com - You thought DTS was good. here we show you the new stuff. www.konesans.com - Consultancy from the people who know "DavidM" <spam (AT) spam (DOT) net> wrote in message news:OEiTkCb7EHA.2568 (AT) TK2MSFTNGP10 (DOT) phx.gbl... Thanks for the reply -- I love the site. Just wish it had a "Printer Friendly" version of the articles. HINT HINT If you've tried, (in the past hour or so ) you'll see that it behavesnicely towards printers now, or at least it does in IE 6 and FireFox. I really can't be bothered to test more, or older versions. The lack of standards support is bad in the current versions, never mind the older browsers. -- Darren Green (SQL Server MVP) DTS - http://www.sqldts.com PASS - the definitive, global community for SQL Server professionals http://www.sqlpass.org |

Thanks -- I took a look and really can't see any difference... I haven't tried to print anything yet. I guess when I mean "Printer Friendly" version is... I wish there was a link for a printer friendly version of the article, that would not include any of the sidebar navigation, header, and any other noise around the article. Seems like when I print articles, either graphics and/or right part of text gets chopped. |

Seems like when I print articles, either graphics and/or right part of text gets chopped. When printing, the side bar and related stuff is not printed (displayed). There is no preview Html version, as this is implemented in css when the media is not html! A simple check would be to use print preview from your browser. As I say, IE 6 and FireFox like it OK. Some pages will still have a problem with right hand text chop, but that is an issue we need to fix outside of this. Text that is specifically formatted not to wrap, since it is code, does not wrap even for printers! Landsace may fix this though as all other text will wrap or unwrap in this case. -- Darren Green (SQL Server MVP) DTS - http://www.sqldts.com PASS - the definitive, global community for SQL Server professionals http://www.sqlpass.org |

I got it -- works great! I have not seen this feature implemented using CSS before! Very cool. Where did you learn this from? Any online resources or books? |
