Default Running DTS Package with Upgraded SQL 2005 - 02-20-2006 , 08:36 AM

According to all documentation I have found, you are supposed to be able to
run DTS packages created in SQL2000 after upgrading to SQL2005, as long as
the run-time library is still available.

However, I am getting errors regarding the vb scripting engine if I try to
run a DTS package on an upgraded 2005 box. I do not have any problems if I
try to run the same package on a freshly installed 2005 box.

In both cases I am installing the DTS Designer Components for SQL 2005
special download from MS. It seems the scripting dll is getting removed with
the upgrade...I have tried copying it in and registering it but get errors on
that also.

Is there anyone else that has had this problem?
