I have implemented to run a dts via ASP. Generally this runs fine but some DTS have a strange behavior. Of course each DTS have been tested individually within the Enterprise Manager. They have also been tested and scheduled in the job agent. Everything is fine

The DTS that fails are these that are embedded in a main DTS. While I know that the "disconnected edit properties" should be set to execute in main thread for each task I still have problems. (The "execute in main thread" setting was an issue before when the job was scheduled via the job agent.

The message I have found in the log is

If I see this message I immediately have a suspicion about the execution thread, but it's not

If I include the DTS within a new DTS that has one command task that sais

DTSRUN ..

The problem is solved!! It could be a by-pass but I would really like to know the real problem. Could anybody help me??
