Hi! Can I rename a DTS Package. I have a big list of Packages with indisciplined naming convention. I am planning to rename all these packages by applying a proper naming convention. Can someone explain me how to rename the packages. I would not like to use the Save As option as it is time consuming besides, it will not move all the Versions of these packages. Thanks in advance for any help. Regards Zaki |

-----Original Message----- You can rename packages. I would never advise altering them directly in the system tables so one way of doing it is to open the packages programmatically and save them out to the new name. -- -- Allan Mitchell MCSE,MCDBA, (Microsoft SQL Server MVP) www.SQLDTS.com - The site for all your DTS needs.
