Default Receiving "unspecified error" when trying to "drop and recreate table" in transform - 01-19-2004 , 03:26 AM

Hi there,
I have MS SQL server 2000 with SP3 installed.
I have installed MyODBC driver, because I want to export a table from my MSSSQL to my MySQL webserver every day.

Everything is going ok, until I get to where I can choose to transform the output, when I click the buttom with the "..." sign, and choose "drop and recreate table" and click OK, I get the following error "unspecified error".
This is very irritating......
Anyone who has a solution ? Or the same problem ?

I presume you are in the Wizard here?

Can we try to do this in the Designer. It is my experience of the wizard
that errors are cryptic and are at times unhelpful. The designer is
generally better.

It's right that I am in the wizard
The designer is to advanced for me. I can't figure it out

I'm trying to export a table from my MSSQL to an ODBC driver to my MySQL server, and I am using a query to collect the data that I want.

OK

We can happily walk through the Designer togerther if you want. If you
intend to use DTS in the future it can be your best friend.

Building a Package in the DTS Designer
(http://www.sqldts.com/default.aspx?278)

Your Source will a type of "Other Connection" which is the little globe
affair.

Have a read and see how you get on.

This error can be caused by not having enough disk space on the drive where
the TEMP directory is located. DTS uses temporary files at both run-time
and execution time. This may not be the problem but it is easily checked.
