Default Reading DBF File - 01-06-2006 , 06:34 AM

Hi

I am trying to read a dbf file using OLEDB but I can't get the entire field.
I suspect that it is because the OLEDB measures the size of the field
assuming it is UNICODE characters and then it reads that number of
characters (another thing that supports that that when Access or SQL Server
read import this table they set the field size to the same amount of
characters that actually return)

Thank you

Please don't post the same message separate times. If you cross-post then
all of the discussion shows up in all of the groups you posted to. That
gives you a better discussion and prevents someone from spending the time to
prepare a response when the issue has been solved elsewhere.

To cross-post in Outlook Express use the button under the word "News Server"
in the upper left of the OE message window. Then use the mover-list to
select the groups you want.
