Hello Kiran,

You will not be able to do a RESTORE from 2005 to 2000. I know of no way
other than doing as you have suggested to make this happen.

Is there any alternate method or third party tools that can do a
restore onto 2000 from 2005. Export and import of individual tables is
very time consuming and we do not want to use it as it has to be done
almost daily basis.
