Here are a few ideas about where to look to convert packages

Integration Services projects are found in BIDS

Start | Run | Devenv

convert my
DTS packages to take advantage of the new tool. After reading several
articles I decided to creat a new project and attemp to convert one of
my old
DTS packages. Under file I selected "New Project". When the New Project
window opens I only see three Templates : Sql Server Scripts, Analysis
Services Scripts, and SQL Mobile Scripts, but nothing for Integration
Services. Did I miss something on the installation or is there another
problem. Question is how do I go about getting the proper Template(s)
for
SSIS...

Thanks

Start | Run | devenv | File | New Project

You should see at the top "Business Intelligence Projects" highight
that and you should see "Integration Services Project" in the right hand
side panel

Thanks Allen for your response...

My problem is not importing DTS packages into SSIS it is the ability to
create a new project in SSIS. When I open a new project I do not see the
SSIS
templates needed to create an SSIS Project....
