It is nothing to do with clustering,. Invalid class string means it cannot
find a component it requires, in this case the OLAP Processing task sounds
favourite.
The SQL server, clsutered or not, does not have the OLAP task, so you will
need to the OLAP client tools tio get the task to be available. I assume you
will have to do this on all cluster nodes, since it is a not a cluster aware
product/install.

fine when I execute them directly from my machine. I found that this only
occurs with packages containing Analysis Services Tasks. Microsoft Knowledge
Base Article - 288910, describes a possible explanation. However I don't
fully understand the workaround. As far as I know the Analysis Services is
not cluster aware. Do I have to install the complete Analysis Services or
only the required components? And if so, how do I do this? Could you please
give me step by step instructions, as to what to do? I would be ever so

Do I need to install the complete Analysis Services Manager or just part of it. How do I do this, I can only select a complete install with our setup CD. Does it have to be installed on the SQL-cluster or the Windows-cluster.
