Yes, you can do this with DTS and SQL Server 2000. However, you'll need to
install either an ODBC driver or OLE DB provider that allows you to access
the AS/400. IBM provides both of these in package called Client Access. The
Client access Data Access components can be used to access the AS/4000 with
no additional client license costs. I've successfully used their ODBC for
several projects.
