Personally I use DROP TABLE and then recreate the table in Excel when i want
to do this. Others, like Darren, use Templates.

Help! I am dumping data from a SQL view to an Excel spreadsheet every
night via DTS. The problem is that I need to clear the spreadsheet out
before each data dump. I thought that I would create an Active X
script that would open the Excel workbook and delete the various
worksheets at the start of the workflow. Is this the best way of
accomplishing this? If it is, where do I find the Excel objects or
does anyone have an code examples?

Thanks,

kim
