Hello,

I am using sql server 2000 developer edition. I have also
installed service pack 3a. When I try to save a dts
package to meta data services I get the following error in
a dialog box labeled "Package Error":

Error Source : Microsoft Data Transformation Services
(DTS) Package

Error Description : Member not found.

I searched everywhere in books on line and the microsoft
website, but could find nothing about it. Does anyone
know what's going on here?
Sorry I cannot help with the problem as I have never seen it before.

Bye the way... I tried to submit a bug report to
microsoft, but I could not find anyway to do it without
paying a fee. Is it possible to do this? Isn't microsoft
interested in its bugs?

MS are interested in bugs, but they have this slightly off putting
method whereby you pay then they refund for a bug. That is they way it
works. if you have bought retail software then I believe this gives you
some free support incidents as does a MSDN subscription.
