Save the DTS package. Then find the transformation task that is giving you this problem. Display properties. The first thing that shows will be source table information. There is a preview button. Find out if the query is giving you more records than you like. Look for blank rows are the bottom

I see 50 more records than I want imported. I don't see any blank rows at the bottom
