When I am using DTS to do a simple transform from one table into another, I need to select the destination table name. However, the drop-down list which gives the table name also shows the DB instance name, and since the instance name is quite long, the actual tables names are not visible within the drop-down (they are cut off on the right side). For example, the list of table names displayed in the drop-down looks something like this: [My_Long_Instance_Name].[w [My_Long_Instance_Name].[w [My_Long_Instance_Name].[w [My_Long_Instance_Name].[w [My_Long_Instance_Name].[w [My_Long_Instance_Name].[w There are many table names that begin with 'w'; however, I can't see any of them because the drop-down list field is not wide enough. Furthermore, the field cannot be scrolled horizontally, and I can't simply type in the value myself. Has anybody out there encountered this problem, and if so, have you found a work around (beside renaming the DB instance)? Best regards, Peter |
