Hi Allan,

We're using SQL Server 2000 sp3a. It has happened twice now for no obvious
reason. The developer hasn't been going in to the package that runs this
step.

Then this should most definitely not hapen. Whilst the error is not
repoducable (is it?) Then his makes it difficult to know from where the problem
originates
