Default Query and Results on Multiple Servers - 02-24-2008 , 10:40 AM

Hi,

I'm new to DTS so wondered if this was possible and if it is does anyone has
any pointers on how to do it or good places where I can learn?

I need to run a query to generate a list of servers. The DTS package then
needs to go to each of the servers in the list, run a query and then place
the results of that query in the database the DTS package is running from.

Sounds easy enough but I'm slightly stuck on how to do it since I've never
created a DTS package before.

Thanks.

JimBob,
Sql Server magazine presents a great example of how to do this in their
feb 2008 magazine on Pg14, entitled "A custom DBA Repository". Instant
doc ID 97840, courtesy of Mr. Rodney Landrum.
