How can i query excel meta data. I need to know column name, datatype,
maxcol size. I want to use this information in importing excel into
SQL.

There is no such thing as Excel meta data. Column names come from the first
row, and the rest Excel calculates on the fly. In Excel each cell can have
it own data type.
