problems with new format

this lovely new format of Discussion Board is not working for me. Hopefully
this post fails, like all the rest that I'm trying to do.

of course it didn't. so, I look like a moron. Thanks MS! I also see that,
despite the error messages I was getting, my previous posts were successful!
