Hi everybody, I'm trying to copy an excel file that contains a column where there is a description with Unicode characters. When I use the DTS and ask to create the chart (all the nvarchar fields from 255), it works correctly, without any mistakes. When I see the chart, a lot of question marks appear in the field with the Unicode characters (this happens both with the Query Analizer and with the enterprise manager). What did I get wrong? |

I created an Excel spreadsheet with a column that contains Cyrillic text (copied from the microsoft.public.ru.sqlserver newsgroup). Then I used the Import / Export Wizard to create a destination table in SQL Server 2000 and to import the data. I see the Cyrillic text without error in Enterprise Manager and in Query Analyzer. Are you doing the same thing? The Excel spreadsheet have more than a column, only one column contain |
