Default Problem with executing DTS from scheduler - 07-15-2003 , 08:52 PM

Does any encounter this problem?
I schedule DTS package to run every 30 minutes from Right
Click Menu.
When schedule task started, it will keep executing Step 1
and hang there. If I execute DTS manually, it completed
perfectly. Please help!!!

Thanks for the reply.
My Server is running SQL 2000 Service Pack 3.
Since I'm having problem with SQL scheduler, I did it in
another way. I save the DTS Package into "Structure File"
and Schedule the task using NT Task Scheduler by executing
DTSRUN /s "dts_package_name.dts" file. It works. But I'm
still prefer to do it in SQL scheduler.
When I implement this in SQL 7, I didn't encounter any
problems. And I'm sure I'm using a highest level
authorization like SQL "sa" login and NT Administrator
login.

I have heard others have this problem.

Have a go at setting all your tasks to execute on the main package thread.
