Default Oracle Error - 12-03-2003 , 09:02 AM

Hello,

I keep getting this error and I need to know how to fix
this. There are computers that can run the DTS package and
others that get the following error message:

The ORACLE client and networking components were not
found. These components are supplied by the ORACLE
Corporation and are part of the ORACLE version 7.3 or
higher client software installation.

Thank you for your help.

When do you get this? At design time? In a job ?
It is telling you that you need the Oracle ODBC drivers loaded onto the
PC/Server that runs the package. Oracle provide these and they do work.

There should be an Oracle directory in Start | Programs

Alan,

I get this message on computers trying to execute the package. The DTS
package works properly from several computers but we have a couple that
do not seem to have these drivers. I am trying to figure out where they
are located on the computers that do work.

Thank you for your help.
