Hello all, A couple of months ago, I posted a question about having the DTS package prompting you to select the file that needs importing. Someone replied with the Open File Dialog Custom Task from SQLDTS.com. I'd like to thank the person who suggested this custom task and I'd like to thank the person/people responsible for creating this task. I've found it to be very valuable. I was wondering if anyone is still working on it, improving it. I've noticed a couple of things that could use some tweaking. I tried sending an email to SQLDTS.com (something like info@... --very hard to find any contact info on that site. info (AT) sqldts (DOT) com was the only email address that I found) several months ago, but no response. Please let me know if anyone out there is still working on this custom task. Thanks, Conan Kelly |

Hello Conan Kelly" CTBarbarin at msn dot com, Let us know at contactus.......I did not see your post come through about the task previously Whilst we are not actively working on it if there is enough need for the suggestion then maybe we could do something (No promises) BTW. i am not a fan of asking the user during package execution. This should be handled before package invocation. Allan, I looked all over for a "Contact Us" link to no avail. The only email link I found was the links@..."Tinnedmeat" address on your Links page to submit a link. I think when I sent that email, I removed the "tinnedmeat" from the address, but my email may have been overlooked considering that it was sent to the "Links" email address. If you can give me an address to write to, let me know. Thanks again, Conan "Allan Mitchell" <allan (AT) no-spam (DOT) sqldts.com> wrote in message news:f0343b03157d48c7fbe4752a1d20 (AT) msnews (DOT) microsoft.com...
