I have received the "Not enough storage is available to complete this operation" message from a SQL Server 2000 DataPumpTask that has been running correctly on several different servers for a couple of years....until I tried running it on Windows 2003 Servers that have recently been upgraded to SP1. I have confirmed this problem by running the same task successfully on a much older Windows 2000 server that has considerably less disk space and memory. I am trying to discover what part of the Transform is being rejected by Win2003 SP1. The same task ran smoothly on Win2003 prior to the SP1. The package that the DataPumpTask runs in is part of a large data migration that includes 20 other packages. I have run this migration at 20 sites without problem. Other packages that move even more data still run fine on the Win2003 SP1. My guess is that the "Not enough storage..." message is an incorrect error message and we will soon be seeing more posts of this nature.. By the way, when I open up the package and click "test" for the ActiveX transform script(VBSCRIPT) I get the "Not enough storage..." error immediately. Question for the group: Does anyone know if there is another recent service pack for SQL Server 2000 that needs to be applied to accommodate Win2003 SP1? |
