Default moving large volume of data from db2 os/390 to sqlserver 2000 - 03-16-2005 , 12:52 PM

We are migrating a few application off the DB2 OS/390 to SQL server
2000. There are millions of records in DB2 that I want to move to SQL
server. I tried DTS (importing to sqlserver), its taking lot of time
for each tables. Is there any faster way that anybody know to move
large volume of data to SQL server.

Thanks

Roger

If your driver of choice is taking a long time then DB2 must have an
"Export to text file" function right? After you do that you plug it
into DTS and BULK INSERT it in.

Have a look at StarQuest Data Replicator
(http://www.starquest.com/Productfolder/infoSQDR.html), it was
designed with Microsoft and is a very fast replication solution.
