Easy question for the folks…
I have a SQL Server (2000) with .txt data files that I need to send cross
country to another SQL Server. This needs to be a scheduled job to run each
week. My thought was to use a DTS package with a Microsoft Data Link but I’m
not sure. I cannot find examples of the ‘UDL File Name’ required to navigate
further into the dialog box setting the connection properties. Does anyone
know the proper method to achieve this end? and maybe what the ‘UDL File
Name’ is ??? and ‘use connection string’ is looking for?
