DTS package is stored into sysdtspackages table in the
msdb database on any SQL Server 2000 instance. Do anyone
know which table in msdb database stored meta data
services? Or is it stored in MSDB like DTS packages?

It's stored in Meta Data Services in the contents repository. Not in a table
in a database.

Meta Data Services is still just a load of tables in msdb, but unlike local
storage, it isn't a simple case of one table.

From a DR perspective, backup msdb and you are covered.
