Default Maximum File Size on FTP Task - 11-19-2003 , 03:37 PM

Hi
I am using an FTP Task to extract large files- some are more than 8,500KB. Is there a restriction on the size that the task can handle? While the task it executing it does begin to put a file on my local directory, but when the execution completes the file "disappears." For the brief time that the file is on my local directory, the size is always different- sometimes 500k, sometimes 140k. I found advice which said to put a "dummy file" on the site beginning with the letter 'z'- using thing idea, when I try to bring over both files, it usually copies them both over and then at the end of the task, the z file disappears. This is not a consistent answer, not sure what else to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated- THANK YOU =
