Default Mainframe DB2 - 06-10-2009 , 02:18 AM

Hi all,
I am new to SSIS, my source system is Mainframe DB2 and target is SQL Server2005.
How to transform data from Mainframe DB2 to Sql server?
Can we use Mainframe DB2 directly as source?
Is any third party tool required to transform the data from Mainframe DB2?

Thanks,
Prathap

"Mainframe" DB2, does that mean AS400 DB2? If you are using SQL Enterprise,
you can download Microsoft's OLE DB connector for IMB DB2, available in the
SQL Server 2005 Feature pack that came out November 2005 (sorry, don't have
the link).
