Default Log Shipping for Developer Edition - 04-22-2004 , 02:06 AM

Hi Friends

I am having the Developer edition of SQL Server 2000. I need Log Shipping. From the books online i tried the procedures but could not configure. There is no proper sequence for configuration using T-SQL in books online

Can any one please tell me how to configure the Log Shipping

With Regards,

Lalit

Not sure which procedures you tried but the steps are pretty
well laid out in the following article from books online:

The SQL Server 2000 Log Shipping wizard works with the
Developer Edition or Enterprise Edition.
You can also write your own. Keith Kratochvil has
information on this at:
http://sqlguy.home.comcast.net/logship.htm
You can also find more information at:
http://www.sql-server-performance.co...g_shipping.asp
And the SQL Server 2000 Resource Kit has information and
scripts for setting up log shipping with it's version called
Simple Log Shipper.
