Default Link to DTS/Vbscript user guide or referernce? - 12-08-2004 , 03:21 PM

I have inherited a bunch of DTS packages which contain VBScript steps. I have
been unable to locate any docs that cover VBScript in the DTS package
context. Books OnLine does not seem to cover it and I can not locate a book
on the subject. This has made it impossible to support the packages and it
makes me wonder how these got written!

I would appreciate any useful feedback, links, book recommendations. . .

Thanks,

Michael

I can recommend two great resources for you.

1 - The ultimate is http://www.sqldts.com Allan provides great examples
and walk-thru of many of the most common yet complex DTS processes.

2 - W3Schools is great for VBScript code reference goto
http://www.w3schools.com/vbscript/

Hope that helps,

And a couple of other options:
Search your hard drive for VBSCRIP*.CHM
to find the VB Script help file on your PC.
Wrox has a VBScript Programmers Reference book.
