Default Jobs never ends after SP4 - 11-17-2003 , 12:16 PM

After applying SP4 to SQL SERVER 7, we see and odd problem
relating scheduled SQL Agent jobs.
The jobs start at the time they are expected to, and the
steps are completed ok, according to the DTS log. The
symptoms are: the jobs which were started seems at jobs
manager to be running, althoug according to the log they
are done. The next day, when they are scheduled, they fail
because the job is still running.

The log file generated by the job is locked by some
process, and cannot be seen until the SQLAgent is stopped.
The log file generated by the dts is not locked and can be
seen anytime, that is why we know they are finished up ok.

Best regards.
