As Job stuck running Step 1

I have a DTS that uses global variables to got to the network, get a file,
unzip the file, import the files into sql and then move the file to an
archive.

It works great as a DTS.

But when run it as a job it sits at Running Step 1...and I have the manually
Stop Job. Then I get no errors on why it is not running correctly.

Any ideas of what can not be run as a job??

Or is there any other way to run a DTS, like as a scheduled task.

Most likely one of the steps is waiting on some input.

Could be that the job doesn't have permissions to the network share you
are using.
