Default Job Schedule does not stay enabled - 03-14-2006 , 11:35 AM

Every morning I must edit the "schedule" section of a certain job property,
click the [_]Enabled check box.

Do not confuse the issue, this is not the Enabled property for "the job", but
for the "Schedule" w/in the job.

The job runs fine all day executing once every 1 minute.

The only suspect is that in the "Manage" snapin I lost my SQL registration, and
found that I could temporarily restore it by re-registering the SQL server in
the EM.

I changed between using sa and Windows auth. w/similar results, Yeah it's back
in Manage, and sigh it's gone post reboot.

I really liked managing the SQL server from "Manage" but unless the two issues
are related, it would be a top priority to have this job's schedule stay
enabled.

TIA

There were some issues in SQL 7 and 2000 with this - they
have been addressed in service packs so make sure you are up
to data on your service packs.
