I'm using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 on a Windows 2003 server with sp1
installed. I created several DTS Packages. When I schedule these packages
there isn't really a problem. The problem that I'm facing here is that when I
schedule a DTS Package that is calling a batch files that executes an .exe
command (f.e. alter.exe or sed.exe) the jobs hangs and want stop. There are
now error messages. the only thing I can do to stop the job is by manually
stop it. If someone has any idea what I should do please let me know. Many
